Sugar, mecha and gaming are all extremely relevant to my interests.
  1. Well, we have a board up in the Dusk's Precipice area for them to post decks and whatnot, so I doubt that would be too much of an issue.
  2. Awesome idea, but with that many people, surely it would be a pain working out responses and chains to individual moves in a forum environment, it would take a huge amount of time. I think 6 people is the most you'd probably be able to have in a single duel without things getting silly. I've done quite a few 4 ways duels before. A bunch of fun, but even just 4 people takes a good while to complete. 'Course, I guess you could get round the time issue by making duels ongoing, in other words, a single duel spanning more than a day with the participants coming and going during that time.
  3. Sounds like fun. I'd be cool with trying to teach people, I kinda do enough of it on GameFAQs already when I'm around. Only issue I have is the name. No offence to whoever was the one suggesting it, but can't we have a more badass squad title? "Summum" sounds kinda weird to me.
  4. Blasphemous? Did you turn code making into a religion while I wasn't looking? Do we sing hymns in hex values? =D
  5. Ultimate Moth shouldn't be that hard really. All you need to do is load your deck up with stall, 3 Wave Motion Cannons, 3 Lava Golems (optional) and your moth ingredients. After that, pick a fight with Nervin, and things should go something like this: 1. Stall that mo-fo 2. Charge your Lazar (Wave Motion Cannon) 3. Summon on up that moth 4. ??? 5. Profit
  6. Shenanigans with Castle of Dark Illusions will get you the Konami bonus.

    Fuck, guys.

If you wanna keep up to scratch, then keep playing, simple as that. Ideally of course, you want to practise against decent players and decks. As long as you play regularly and against a good variety of deck-types, you'll be able to evaluate yourself pretty easily, and accordingly, improve your game. That's what works for me anyway. Though, I'll admit I don't play as much as I'd like right now either. Could be just plain old bad luck though, 'course.

    Aki Izayoi

Well, most of the other main female characters that have been in Yu-Gi-Oh are either useless, annoying, or a mix of both. Aki however, manages to be both competent at duelling and not have a lame personality, at least for now. Like Ready said, I'm not sure if I like where they're trying to take her character. Also, I highly approve of her wardrobe. =D Has anybody else noticed that Aki looks very similar to Kallen from Code Geass? They could almost be twin sisters.
  9. Yeah, I kinda picked that much up from the rest of the site. I wasn't saying it was a bad thing or anything, I was just being easily amused by the Engrish. I'm sure If I had to speak any other language, I'd probably end up doing something of the same, just with the shoe on the other foot so to speak.
  10. "You've not have any deck yet" Dang, I'm loving this site already. <3
  11. Ah, Phantom of Chaos, such a wonderful evil swirling vortex of convenience. I remember mucking about with this combo in YVD when Mezkui and PSZ were still at 3, good stuff.
  12. No wai man! Cheating is disallowed!? I always thought that cheating in a game was a totally legit tactic. ... Hang on a sec, I think my brain just imploded.
  13. Sounds sexy, for sure. I'm always up for tourneys, prizes or not. =D I'll see if I can dig us up some members by next Friday then, I have at least 2 people in mind anyway so I'll pass it by them next time I catch 'em online. I assume Nauske's already joined the Yugimans teim, right?
  14. Luck is always going to be a factor in strategy card games. If you draw X card when your opponent doesn't have a suitable counter or comeback then of course you can take advantage. Splashability in cards is not a bad thing, take MST for instance. I do agree though that some of the "staples" are overpowered. Reborn for instance, should never have come back from the forbidden list in the first place. If we take an idealistic stance, ignoring the state the current format is in, then most of the current "staple" cards should probably hit the forbidden list, though I'm prepared to debate Heavy Sto
  15. That's fair enough. Anything about my other suggestions? Good luck with your locals, tell us how ya fair.
