Well, most of you probably aren't in school or in America so you will have a different school grading system.
But i am sick of school reports and grades. First of all, i am a C-B student and C is considered alright, but whenever i get a D in a subject that isn't major
(shop, languages, music) my parents lose it and complain about how i need to try more. Honestly i don't give a flying fuck about those subjects, the only one i would enjoy is shop. On some occasions i do get a D in my major subjects, Like in math i'm very far behind and i know that's my fault. I'm not good with numbers, as are many people. This on the other hand doesn't bother me too much i just don't like parents having a yell at me. But on the other hand, when i get a D on my report for SOSE or S&E whatever you want to call it, my parents lose it. This isn't so much me being stupid, i get along fine with schoolwork and assignments but it's usually the fact that i will zone out or will not put the best of efforts into my work.
The main point i'm trying to get across is that whenever i get a bad mark my parents treat me as though I've gone and slammed my head against a wall until i forget how to write my abc's. Long story short, getting a bad grade does not mean i'm retarded. It means i need to pay more attention in school.
I know by leaving this rant here, i am susceptible to looking like a complete dickhead, but opinions?

Actually, the grading system in America is universal/similar.
Yea, I may be Asian, but I'm one of those "special" Asians. No, I'm not mentally retarded. Just one of those people that try to give a fuck, but fails to do so. Sure, I may have tried my best in class, but for some reason it's just not enough. I'm around a C-D, but mostly D's. I do put effort, but my teachers hate me. Heh. Yea, at times I do try and then most of the time I don't try, but that depends on the subject.
What I don't try in is English, Art Fundamentals, Freshman Studies, and... well, basically most of my classes. The one I actually put effort in is everybody's favorite: Physical Education! I mean, who doesn't like it? [Me] Well, fuck you.
But honestly, the best grade I've gotten is in Freshman Studies. Basically we don't do much in there, but read and do anything. It's pretty much just Driver's Ed. from there.
I'd rather not say what my parents think about 'em, but it's safe to say that it's just... meh to them. But at times, they would beat me down with a paddle. If you're talking real Asian, hoo hoo, you've seen nothing yet.
That's the bullshit on School Grades.
