ScOtTyZ here, with the first rant! And wadd'ya know, it's about YouTube!

This is like a multi-part rant, and a great way to start off! So, bare with me, as this is gonna get crazy.

Let's start off with your account... no, I'm not gonna rant on the old YouTube 2.0 that everybody "used" to talk about. When you register, now you have to verify with your mobile phone. It's a new feature that YouTube thought it would "block spammers" from creating multiple new account. Guess what, Google? You're blocking like at least 20% of people from creating accounts. You can bet that there are people out there that don't have phones (at least mobile phones) to verify their accounts. Sure, they have the calling feature, but what difference does it make? Plus, Google collects your mobile number, though their process is encrypted. I believe this is a pointless feature, and would drive away lots of paranoid people, thinking Google is gonna steal your phone number, and gonna send you a lot of crap. And I used to be one of those people that thought everyone on the internet was gonna steal my personal information. Hell, I didn't even trust eBay or Amazon back then. Props to you, YouTube, for creating a horrible feature.

The second piece of crap they call a "great feature" is the Like and Dislike button. Sure, it may not bother you guys, but it just creates more problems. First, they're just simplifying the rating with just two options. The star ratings gave a more reliable source to selecting videos to watch and lets us choose what we really thought of the video, but this just tells us whether somebody really liked it, or thought it was crap. Also, lately in the comments, people started trolling by saying things like "XX people missed the Like button" or "XX accounts were made by Justin Bieber just to dislike this video!", which are pretty much annoying. Sure, lots of sites are doing it, but that doesn't mean YouTube has to transition to something like that. At least they could've stayed original (or at least close enough).

The last thing that bothers me on YouTube is the bar on the bottom that appears on your subscription videos. What it does is basically interacts with your subscription videos. There's a "Autoplay" feature that automatically changes to the next video after the current one is done, and the annoying pop-up from the bar that shows your subscription videos. There's no point in it, it causes more trouble by just clicking it to drop back down, and it just pisses people off. Probably this is the worst feature. Luckily, there's a solution to rid this problem. In the link, delete everything from the & -->.

Yeah, the quality of youtube has slowly been dropping and will hopefully not get any lower than it currently is, one of the most annoying things about youtube is that whenever you sign in, it prompts you to link it to your google mail or whatever the hell it asks you to link with.

But, there has been some slight success with this horrible new change. Google is seemingly run by inbred monkeys, so they left a massive gap in coding, this lead to people being able to change videos and link them to whatever the hell they wanted, I was extremely happy when my friends told me to click a link to Justin Bieber's "baby"

and then i get meatspin straight in my face. The only time i was ever happy to see a dick spinning round in circles before my eyes.

The other one good thing about these new features is now you can play snake on youtube while the video loads, for those of you who don't know, pause the video and hold any arrow key you want, after 2 seconds or so, a snake will appear and you can play as long as you like (this can only be done on the new layout videos)

Youtube, i am disappoint. Yet satisfied.
